SHAVU'OT

BH

Dear Friends,

This coming Sunday, May 24, is a Big Day.

In fact, it's probably bigger than Passover. It's the day we got our purpose as a people - the day Judaism became Judaism.

When  2.5 million Jews circled Mount Sinai, some 3327 years ago (!), and witnessed heaven touch earth.

When we were gifted the Torah; When our journey as a people truly began to take shape...

Come and Celebrate this monumental moment of our shared history and destiny.

No matter what your relationship with Torah is (or isn't), it's your Birthright Gift.

SCHEDULE:

* Saturday Night (5/23) - "Talk-Story" - 8:30pm

Tonight is the Yartzeit (anniversary of passing) of the Holy Baal Shem Tov, the Mystic and Miracle-worker who founded the Hasidic Movement, and revolutionized Jewish thinking and practice, re-introducing it's soul and joy. We'll tell fascinating stories, melodies & teachings of his life around candle-light, in the garden (weather-permitting).

It's a good warm-up for tomorrow's milestone event. You can read up on the Ba'al Shem Tov by clicking here

Feel free to read a miracle-story which inspires you and share it with us...

(This gathering will be at our home, Ka'iulani #13 in Princeville - Please RSVP, so we can adequately prepare).

* Details re: The Unique Study on Sunday Morning -

We'll be learning a Kabbalistic/Chasidic manuscript of a discourse on "The Duality of Oneness", which was first delivered exactly 100 years ago today!

This is part of the most comprehensive Chasidic Discourse titled "Ayin-Beis", which deals with the duality of our reality and how it is all one.

The insights shed here have real implications in resolving our inner discord. Beginners welcome. It's in English.

** Children - who come to the Torah reading will be treated to ICE CREAM (besides the other treats in store for everyone else!) ;-)

Q: Why a special emphasis on Children? Watch this video

Looking forward to celebrating our special day together!
